COLLEGE OF SOCIAL SCIENCES AND HUMANITIES
Introduction
The college of social sciences and Humanities is the newest college established under the leadership of the then President Dr. Samuel Kpehe Ngaima, Sr. in February 2023. The college provides a broad and enriching education that equip students with valuable skills applicable to a wide range of careers and life pursuit. The college operates five unique departments namely: Department of Sociology, Social Work, Criminal Justice, Communication and Media Studies and Political Science. The college offers and awards undergraduate degrees to students and has the orientation of research and public service.
The College of Social Sciences and Humanities prepares students to meet opportunities offered in education, artistic, human relations or services, journalism, gender, and other related fields. Students are provided opportunities to earn their degrees in the below disciplines:
- Bachelor of Arts in Sociology
- Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work
- Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice
- Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science
- Bachelor of Arts Degree in Media Studies.
