THE COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (CEST)

Introduction

The College of Engineering Science and Technology (CEST), formerly the Department of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Lofa County University was established in 2012 under the deanship of Prof. Wainright J. Koiwood. The college is dedicated to fostering innovation, advancing knowledge, and cultivating the next generation of engineers, scientists, and technologists. Established to address the growing demand for skilled professionals in various science disciplines, CEST offers comprehensive Bachelor of Science Degree programs in Civil, Electrical, Mining, Environmental, and Geological Engineering, as well as Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics, Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry. These programmes are tailored to integrate theoretical foundations with practical applications in real world. The college is committed to providing a supportive and dynamic learning environment where students can thrive academically and professionally.
